📖 Why Wind Makes Evaporation Faster
When water evaporates, water molecules leave a liquid surface and enter the air. If the air directly above the water becomes humid, evaporation can slow. Wind moves that humid air away and replaces it with drier air, allowing more water molecules to escape. This is one reason a breeze can help wet surfaces dry faster.
