📖 Why Some Seeds Travel
Plants cannot walk to new places, but their seeds can travel. Some seeds are light enough to blow in the wind. Others have hooks that catch on animal fur, and some are carried inside fruit that animals eat. Moving away from the parent plant can give a seed more space, light, and water as it begins to grow.
